I'm really tempted to go for those Pacus. I'm told somebody landed a 60 lb. Pacu in a nearby lake about a couple of miles from here, somewhere in the Tamiami airport area. I just bought a couple of new rod and reel combos. One is for the Pacus and the other is to replace one I lost when I broke my record. Got too excited and left the rod and reel to take the fish home. The tackle was gone when I returned.:(

60lb PACU??????? ****! I want to catch that! Must give of a heal of a fight. Definitely using braided line for that one.

Take pics! Lots of it!!!!! I love seeing Aussie Fishing pics. Pulling Baramundi, Letchartdi, Jardini, Murray Cod and Bumble Bee Groupers just sounds way too cool!

Holy crap, this thread exploded in a NY minute. Just now found it & my eyes are tired from catching up on the buzz. That said, Good luck in everything you do to THE ONE AND ONLY TRUST! It will be nice to have you around as a mere fragile mortal like most of us :naughty:
