The filter pad is from a friends established tank. I'm hoping the bacteria will seed my system and complete the cycle in a few days. It's actually a 55g, btw. Decor is only temporary. I'm going to add another nice piece of driftwood opposite this one and a few faux plants to mix it up a little. A nice natural background will top off the decor. No loaches yet. Last I heard, the three sb's I had bought were sold under my feet and the guy owes me money. My other 6 sb's are at my friends house until I make sure parameters are in check.
I'm not sure where to head this tank as far as occupants. If I can get my hands on some nice dats, then its going to be dats, loaches, and a few misc fish. Otherwise, it may be loaches and a bunch of little community fish. Maybe some Altums or Scalares.
