It's Starting...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just to update. I kinda said to hell with the plan. Things just happened to work out in my favor, so I took advantage of it. I did a small 20% water change and got a call just as I was finishing up. Turns out a buddy wanted to hook me up with some clown loaches. I gaurentee I got the best deal out of anyone...FREE! So I go 6 2-3"ers running around my tank. 2 are a little skinny for my liking, but I'll fix that no problem. I also added a pair of swordtails just for some color. The tank still has no decor because, well I'm lazy. I'm going to pick up a paroon shark on Tuesday too. I'm super excited about that.

How big is the paroon? Just a word of caution, it will grow so quickly that everything else will be food to it, LOL. I have 2 that are 5" now...a month ago, they were almost 2". They are garbage cans and eat anything.

Its about 3-4". I need SOMETHING to hold me over. You wouldnt happen to have a small dat for me? Eric right?

if that paroon is 3-4" the tankmates will become food sooner than you think. My 2 sometimes try to swallow the tails of a couple of lima shovelnoses that I have in with them and they're the same length!

I "may" have a 2.5" thinbar that I could part with, LOL. You have no patience it seems, haha. Gotta fill that tank :).

What's an update without pics?

That's a killer FD, that's what it is, LOL. Mazda RX-7 for the layman :P.

I think I've got 20 or so fish in the 55g at the moment.

7x Clown Loaches
3x Bushynose Plecos
1x Common Pleco
4x Gold Barbs
1x Zebra Danio
1x Pearl Gourami
3x Swordtails

It also goes to say that this is, dollar for dollar, the most impressive collection on MFK. All the fish mentioned above cost me $17.

have you done any performance mods to your rx7? a tuner for rx7s named peter ferrell has his shop about 5 minutes from my place. hope that rotary engine doesn't give you any problems.
