Pacu is some pretty tasty fish!
One of my friends here at college cooked some a few weeks ago and let me try some. At first, I was a bit disgusted at the idea of eating something that I view as a pet, but it turned out to be quite good when I tried it. As gross as it sounds, even the eyes taste good!

A lot of the parts that get crispy take flavor really well...some people I know think that the skin is the best part...and it is one of my favorites.
I would love to send anyone who wanted to try it fish as long as the reimbursed me for the fish and the shipping.
Seeing as how I am not a farm though, or licensed to sell fish or protein I dont think that I could risk that.
We just got in another batch of pacu for this coming year, and might even be trying something bigger over the next two year...so stay tuned!
