I bet that WC devil recently removed from her billion gallon system is loving getting the crap beat out of her in a divided glass box. A secure divider is a happy divider but if they NEED to be divided whats the point? Are you making bank off f2 devil fry?

And the point is that I like the fish for their beauty not aggression you making it sound as if I wanted to have her trashed he got beat a little to and I didn't remove the fish from the wild so I show no shame in it being taken from the wild

I don't mean to derail but the lfs had one of my dream fish, a jardini arowana. It was a baby, about 4-5 inches and I had to get it. It was eating pellets at the store and was with some rasboras. I decided to put himin my 55 gallon with my baby peacocks, tetras, catfish, and the clown loach. I removed everything that could harm it like the large rainbow fish. In my tank he wouldn't eat pellets but we got him to finally eat crickets. One morning the jardini was looking very stressed, he was throwing up his food and was laying on the bottom. The clown loach was swimming around him. Immediately the aro was separated but he died soon after ): I figured it had to be the clown loach because he was seen near the aro and was bugging him on several occasions

You could be right but...I think the loach just stressed him to the breaking point, especially since he was new to the tank and th loach had been there for a while

Other than members beating the crap out you for a mistake you did get some worth while tips about how to better secure your divider. Perhaps the title of the thread had somthing to do with you taking some heat for it. All we can do is learn from our mistakes and move on. No one on this forum was born an expert fishkeeper. I've said before I've killed more fish on this journey than I'd care to admit.

Dividers must be really secure or they simply fall down as you have seen.
I zip tie horizontal pieces to the bottom, put perpendicular vertical pieces on the side, and weigh them down with heavy rocks. I also cut notches on top to jam into the upper frame. And as suggested , zip the top to the brace, and bacr with PVC for particularly strong fish.

Nice man thanks for that in an emergency for me I will save your technique!
