My Gar tank is alot smaller...8 ft circle 5 ft deep,,,every bit of 4 tons consentrated in one spot. My gar is a 3 car attached w/ 6" slab,underpinned ,wire mesh and 6 bag mix.....and the slab still dropped 3". Be careful Mr.!!

Your good..the soil under your basement slab is prob virgin soil that cant go anywhere. If the man made condition under your gar slab settle...thats bad. If you tapp on the slab with a broom stick and it sounds hollow like a drum...there could be a void under the slab. this could be mud jacked. This has been my experience a dozens of timesHmm... I never thought about that. I have a 1018 gallon intex pool for my pbass, oscars and rays and i never once thought about the 4+ tons of weight damaging the basement floor.



MP get them out of that galvanized stock tank ASAP, the zink will kill them! There is a thread in here that I'm looking for that he had it kill most of his big cats; as soon as I find it I'll post the link. I just don't want to see you do it. You could line it with a pond liner?
