I'VE GOT EGGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You shouldn't have a problem fitting a mature male severum in you 40 breeder, now the real problem is that the pair might terrorize the rest of the fish in the tank.

Time for an update. Those Ram eggs should be fine. I don't think I've ever had any fish breed and not have some turn white.

All of the eggs are white. Unless I've missed something. This is the first time my pair has laid eggs. So I'm sure they'll try again. I want to clean my 10 gallon out and move them into it next time they lay eggs so they can be by themselves. And of course the severums eggs have started to turn white. I really want to get a male for her. I still can't get over the amount of eggs she laid with no male of her kind in the tank with her. I hate that I'm so unprepared for this. I've also been getting a lot of slack for wanting to get a bigger tank and a male sev. I just want to enjoy them. That's off topic, sorry.

So as of today, it looks like this was unsuccessful.

If I was allowed to get a bigger tank for them I would. But right now I can't I don't want them to be cramped in my little 40. They need more room, but seeing all those eggs makes me want to get a bigger tank and a bf for her.

That sucks, but yeah, they'll definitely do it again and it should work out better. A lot of them mess it up their first time. You need to get a double stand so that way you can have two tanks, but not take up any more room than one.

Well I have a 10 gallon right now that has 9 neons, 1 betta and 1 yoyo loach in it. It's sitting next to the 40.

Here's a photo
(i know, on a dresser?!?! she's an idiot. I plan on having my bf help me build a stand for it.)

Now I just noticed this tonight, I don't think it's significant to whats going on, but I wasn't sure.

Whatever this is, is not present in this photo that I took yesterday. I doubt it's eggs from either Kijani or the rams.

Plus it's on the same pot as Kijani's eggs. I thought when the eggs go bad they turn white?? These almost look grey. So I have no idea. It's probably nothing, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to see what you guys think.

Also how can I get this thread moved to the breeding forum? Anyone know??

Any input on what that last photo might be about guys??

Also, I was wondering. I have another flower pot in the tank next to the larger one that Kijani laid her eggs on. I was wondering if moving it to the other side of the tank might make the rams feel more comfortable to try to lay some more eggs......or does that sound stupid???

I need a better divider.....and to clear out my 10 gallon. Blahhhhh.
