J jaws7777 , It would be nice to see quality JD's of either a WC or F1 background. Sound like a fun project to raise them out.

Yeah I'm all over the place I don't wanna pay 55 in shipping for a 12 dollar fish lol maybe bring it old school and get some JD's and a red Oscar. Those were the 1st two fish I remember getting about 20 yes ago lol

And 20 years ago it was probably more fun. I think we make it way to serious and the fun is gone. You should raise something that will make you happy. I say Go for it. Regular JD’s and Red Oscar would be fine!

Just need to heal up. Still cannot lift more than 5lbs. The wife has been doing everything around the house. Can you imagine would she oukd say if I asked her to set up the 75 gal. Hahaha she'd kill me

Iol, if she really loves you she would set it up for you. :p
Even after my hand surgery I couldnt ask my wife to help with any tank related things. It is my hobby not hers.

Just hang in there and heal up. Great time to research and plan.

Always bioload with us lol. Tank looks empty but it pretty closeeto being maxed out. Love the poly and went down to 7 from 16 give or take a couple. I honestly don't think I could part with any of the remaining group. The vulture adds Soo much activity but other than zippy (lol) and hulk you wouldn't know there's fish in there haha

Plus I'm also a fan of having empty spots in the tank. I really don't like seeing fish cramped in

That is the issue in my tank, you see the pearsei and het and nothing else. The polys all log pile in the back and you dont even know there are six in there. Really thinking to rehome two polys.

So is the goal a dempsey or Red Oscar to add to the 300g, or another project?
