great debate. the reason im asking is cause i recently bought a JD from an LFS in kahala, with full intention of getting a JD but from pics it looks like it might be a GT instead and labeled wrong at the shop!! arrrg... yet ooh! lol

what do you guys think it is? i bought it as a juvenile JD for $2 and upon Google searching it seems that Green Terrors have a distinctive black spot on their sides and my baby has one of those..

if thats a JD it has very light coloring. Mine never looked that light even when he was small
 
Looks like a JD to me. He might be really light colored because of the white sand and the white wall. He's new to the tank and stress washed him out I'm thinking. I've seen it before on other fish.
 
both fish are wimps, both are easily found at almost any pet store, both will get hith from feeders.
 
I forgot, the original question was which do you prefer?

I like both, but would have to lean more towards the GT. I've had both and find a male GT as more personality and I like the look. Nothing wrong with a JD though.
