i have two female dempseys and want to get a male depmsey to breed, but now i am very tempted to get a texas instead. how hard was it to get them to breed?

I have a male JD and a female nicaraguense and female texas currently in my tank, i hope they pair up cause thats an awesome hybrid.
I just found this thread, and knowing it is 2 years almost later. Any more progress on fry. I too found the same article from aqua land pets plus and I am really curious about trying to breed this hybrid. I figured I would add to instead of making my own. OP, any more info? Or anyone else have any luck with this hybrid?
I'm guessing the OP just gave up on it and fell of the fish wagon. Anyone know of any threads talking about Texas/Jack Dempsey crossing that have some info?
