Jack Dempsey are pretty timid.... they dont really kill other tankmates.. not as bad as Flowerhorns....
Their growth rare tho.. is quite slow... I took one of my males almost 9 months to become a full 7" Adult.. and the female is still at 4"..
I've notice Male's growth peek at 4".. from then on.. they will growth very quickly... but it takes about 6 months for males to grow to that size...
Females are more aggressive and mature faster than males. but sorta slow down their growth around 4"....
