Babies dead. Eaten by mom and dad. Trying again. Next time will remove the babies in breeding container.
soory to hear about all your losses. but might i add those are some of the most beautiful JD's ive seen. sure i may not see that many in the first place but i hope you better luck next time
Jacks are starting over in an 75 gallon. I believe they ate all the babies.

the one in the statue is the female, darker one is the male..females have more of a beard on the bottom of the gill plates???where to me, the male looks more like tattooed dots..

I moved the fish into a 75G tank and am trying again. Do you think they will breed with 3 plecos in the tank? I dont know. I am waiting to get my 60G back set up to move the plecos out. I am not sure. See more pics in my profile if interested.
The plecs may make them feel threatened, or they may attack them, depends on whether they see them as a threat to their young.
