Can a Electric Blue Jack Dempsy cichlid live with a Red Jewel Cichlid in a 90 gallon without issues ????

With cichlids no one can actually answer that 100% but I personally think it will work out.

Really good chance it will not work. Aggression levels are at complete opposite ends of the spectrum. EBJDS are very sensitive and will stop eating on a moments notice. I kept mine with barbs. Jewels on the other hand a very aggressive very territorial and kind of jerks :). If I gambled I would bet money the EBJD gets killed.

For the cost of an EBJD, I would not take the chance with an aggressive African cichlid like the jewel.

If it's an individual of each in a 90, I think it'll be fine... I had the combo for a short time actually though it seems my ebjd is an exeption rather than the rule with aggression. Had to do some digging but here's some pics of when they were small. Had 2 ebjd, 2 jd and 2 jewels.

The biggest thing it came down to was, after the jewels started spawning, they owned 1/2 the 55. After 2 failed tries they broke up and by that time the JD and ebjd were simple bigger. They jewels just hid all the time. With one of each in a 90 maybe with some dither, it should work out well ime.
