Jag compatability?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you dont have to worry about a midas with the jag. when the midas gets bigger hopefully he gets along with the jag.

You can do 2 large cichlids,at least add 5 medium size cichlids that don't go pass 6 inches that could defend themselves easily and hide if having too.

i feel a flower horn would die. there used to be 2 male convicts in the tank. they grew up with the jag.but when the jag reached around 7 inches he killed them. i think im going to get a mida. i hope it works out!

im not sure about medium sized cichlids, not that i dont think its a good idea i just dont know that many apart from cons that could hold there own. But from experience i have a group of giant danio's that my female jag spends half the day leaning up trying to catch one, so it distracts her alot of the time

make sure there giant ones, i made the mistake in my early days of putting some zebra's in, which lasted about 30 seconds and my nephew crying for about 30 minutes (lesson learned lol)

lol. yea ill be sure to do that. I wish i could get some sort of medium sized cichlids though. but if not possible i will have to get some gaint danios.

salvinis as far as i know seldom grow beyond 6 inches in the aquarium and look great but im not to sure on what numbers they can be kept in, im sure a pair would be fine even though they can be mean as hell when breeding but im not sure if you can keep upwards of a pair
