May be the best pair I've seen. Some of my favorite fish. Nothing out there looks like a nice male jag. I've got 8 juvies growing out now to get a pair. Used to be 11 until one grew faster than the others and took out a few siblings.

Thanks, good luck growing them out. You will typically loose a few when growing out a bunch. Post updates of yours as they mature.

I would just keep up on water changes and feed a good pellet. Plan for a larger tank down the road, they really like to swim.
It varies some. I would say typically they spawn every couple weeks, they have gone longer periods at times, maybe a month or so.
