vent it. duh. haha jk. your best bet is take it out and vent it yourself dont use these answers as definites just opinions. also the color and body shape looks odd. i would look into other parachromis because of how odd it looks
It is a Petsmart pickup. This is my third time at trying for a male. I just want a single fish setup in my 90. I dont now how to vent to be honest. If this is a female I think my love affair with jags is over for awhile and Ill try something different.
right after the anal fin there should be 2 vents if the vents are the same size and pointed its a boy if one vent is much bigger than the other its a girl. the big one is to push out eggs.
Are you guys kidding me? XR? That jag is a male. Head shape is a little diff, and the fins are rounded yes, but you know that carries no weight in sexing fish. The facial banding is very thick, no prominent lateral line, the vertical banding is breaking up... Male 90/10.

Yup its a male!! =D Its kinda clear to say it cuz of the blue tint on its fins.And it has the strips and spots all over it body
