Jag tank size?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
By the way, there is nothing "illogical" about providing a small fish with a large space to live in in. Aside from the obvious positive that the fish will have much more room to swim around around, maintence is easier on a tank that is set up like that.
While you may not agree with it and you consider it a waste of a tank, there is no lack of logic there.

I'm frustrated by you now. So.... I'm going to ignore you lol
No one should be frustrated, it's not that serious.

Exactly. Really confused at the anger especially coming from someone who as a thread where he thinks his tank is too small for his fish.

Guy asked a question regardless if he chooses to listen or not its not a major scandal

I have no issues saying that i would rather grow a fish out and upgrade as need be. No way im keeping a 2 inch fish in a 6, 7 or what ever ft tank. When it grows it moves. Thats why 75 gals are ine of my favirote tanks.... great grow outs

I agree with what your saying Jaws but he said he wants to keep it in there for at least two years.
I know there are cichlids out there that grow faster than jags but jags still grow at a decent pace.I would give it no longer than 1 year in a 75

I blame it on the, DUNT DUNT TA!!!!!! fish natzies!! (giggling)

I hear ya dude but still no reason to get the blood pressure up and get angry at the guy. If he doesnt follow everyones opinion then so be it. Like i said earlier in the thread if hes a responsible fish keeper he will upgrade. Sometimes we have to learn from our experiences. I was told plenty of things when i first got back into the hobby some i listen to others i didnt had to make some mistakes and learn from them.

I found the thread quite amusing to be honest. No anger here. Just found no sense in logi not listening.

That is true. no one is bound to take any advise given, and if they choose not to take it? then so be it, you have said what you think to be the right thing to you. no fault in that, I poster not taking that advise is not an insult. its just ITHO.

Look man imo there are some members here that are just spot on, always correct and back up what they say, and have gone out of their way to improve the hobby. For me there are some members i would listen to blindly... when they speak i listen. Maybe op isnt aware of who those members are, maybe hes not active enough.

Im sure you had to make your mistakes too man

Sure, made loads of mistakes. But I still listened to experienced people when asking for guidance.
If the op don't want to listen cool,I just feel sorry for the fish.
