how many jags fit in a 125g long? i know they are aggressive, so do you need a pair so they aren't as aggressive with each other?

i wouldnt put any more than 4 in that tank. they do get pretty big and stockie. not to mention nasty at times!!

2 max. Get a pair and have a divider or safehaven ready for the female. I had my Jag in my 135 for a while and he claimed the whole tank. I had to rearrange fish or he would have killed everyone in the tank.

I agree two max, and a pair would be best. A divider will most likely be necessary.

two would be best, but i would say 3 is the max.

but if you do 3, make sure there all females, when jags pair up, they can be very nasty.

Yeah a pair is the best for that tank. It may be possible for 3 though but that's pushing it.

I was woundering...
I bought a male and a female at the same time, same size
But now the male is about 7" but the female only 3", they were bouth about 2" when I got them, is that normal?
I bought another female today to see if see would do better
