I found an old glass vase and put him in it... i have a airator, and the room, temp is usually around 76-78, so hes should be good... if i put him in a 10-20 g tank for now, will he be fine? the vase hes in now is very small...
lol, before everyone flips out he is joking, he has a 30g that he is growing it out in and is getting a larger tank after his birthday

No sarah, sad to say the Jag is dominating my 30g already... as soon as i dropped the Oscar in there the jag took a few minutes to realise what was going on then flipped out... every second he was ramming into tand biting the oscar... i had to do something... he was starting to float on his side... atleast for some reason im good at nursing fish back to health... (He is in the vase, and i checked just a monent ago, all the food i put in there is gone, his belly is fat, and h seems happy to be away from the Jag...) PetSmart opens at 7, ill prob go take it back then... unless theres anyway it can be safe in there untill the 31st... but i think the changes are slim, yea?

(Im thinking about taking him back and buying a 120g. It cost $300, plus $300 for the stand... but i have a long sturdy table that will work just fine... I guess im just ment to raise Jags... I was going to get another Jag, but they were all so small, they would have easily been dead... atleast the oscar stood a chance and was able to be saved before he was eaten...)

Back to Topic... It looks like everyone is split, some say male, some say female... i guess in a month or so ill start posting some more pics and see if anyones opinions have changed... theres a petshop here called D&B or B&D Pets, they have alot of exotic type fish, maybe theyll have some larger Jags...

Ok guys, i found a old 10g tank... the silicone is gone, so im gonna re apply it, it should be ready for him later tonight...

halfway down the page.... all you need to know about jags care.

They can growout in a 75 gallon but ALL Managuense WILL require a 6 ft x 1.5ft tank upon full growth female or male does not matter.

Oscars and Jags bad decision IMO. I have always heard my Oscar just hides ,it's always on it's side, etc etc it's because O's aren't supposed to be kept with Mana's.
Some people have great luck but 60% of the time that i see is that it just doesn't work.

Your jag looks female.

Great. Hope she never pulls the trigger on mating with anything else but another managuense.
