Jaguar & Mono Bass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thanks for side tracking this thread..... was not the question trying to find out how to curve the aggression for now. The tank I had the p-bass in didnt hold water so if you guys would like to start a fund go ahead and send me the money to replace his tank otherwise thanks for the seperating temporarily idea will try holding him in a bucket for awhile. also I lowered the temp the other day at it seemed to really reduce aggression.

Wasnt a sidetrack. I answered your question with the correct answer, you just didnt want to hear it. You dont have the proper equipment to house the fish you have and you dont know what to do.

If you dont want/ cant handle honest & correct advice, then dont come to a public forum.

also VRWC thanks for underlining made reading much easier.

I figured by the question/ comments (ie: you kept a 6" jag in 36g bowfront) that some emphasis/ underlining was needed and would help.

Glad I could be of service. :D

Nope didnt answer my own question I wanted a solution to the problem at hand working with what I have......

Put a divider in there for now. You're going to have to pick which one you want to keep. Especially since your jag is being super aggro. Dither fish/more cichlids might help the situation, but you would be overstocking your tank.

thats my .02

I asked HOW TO curve the aggression for now .... I realize this is a temporary and not ideal situation but I have to make it work.

if your jag is really that mean, you are not going to be able to "CURVE THE AGGRESSION FOR NOW". he will keep terrorizing your mono till it dies from stress/wounds. PUT AN EGGCRATE DIVIDER IN THERE FOR NOW. this situation is FAR from temporary unless you are purchasing a larger tank in the next few hours-days. Everyone on here is trying to help you, stop being a bigot and heed their advice or next time don't even bother asking.

lower temps decrease aggression but that doesnt mean it will rid of it completely, I can't keep anything with my jaguar lol they all have different personalities

just got rid of a jag who killed 6 cichla including a broko jags dont like cichla get rid of it or the bass. and like everyone else said tanks to small my friend
