Jaguar Pups anyone!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hi Mike,

Thanks for the quick reply. I totally understand. We've been keeping aquariums (multiples) for almost 2 decades. We've done a lot of research on Rays but don't have one yet. We will be upgrading in 18mo's. This tank was setup to start the Rays in the Family Room so we can keep a close eye on them and learn. They will move to another wall in 18mo and have a 10ft tank. We currently have a 72x24x29 setup for 4mo's for them to be reared in. It's got a 75G sump / QO 6000 (might be upgraded soon - turning tank 7x)2 heaters in sump, 40W Aqua UV, and some pumps inside to move the water. Thanks for responding so quickly and for your questions.

BTW - Can you share some posting wisdom? What does it take to get 5 posts. We've posted at least 3x per day for several days. Way over 5 posts.

Thanks, :)

Sounds like you already have what it takes, love the 75 gallon sump, I am a big sump fan myself. Guys with big sumps can agree that it makes maintenance so much easier and water quality is a lot easier to keep in check. I will shoot you a pm here to see if you get it.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words

These were born 120 days after the first pup. I wish I knew when the male actually knocked her up. I came home today to a bunch of white stuff floating on the waters surface so maybe she got knocked up again today. Time to start counting.

Seems like your the premier Jag breeder in the hobby...lol. All from one pair!

Congrats!
