sup so i have about 40 2 inch jaguar fry and ima throw in 5 2 inch festae and see if i can get a pair and this is in my 30 g growout how does this sound and who would be interested in fry, who thinks this would work or should i do Red tigger mota x festae , also i googled manaconda and i wa slike WTF just google image it

If you can do it I would def buy fry from both projects but you are gonna need a bigger tank than a 30 gal to make this happen. and you will most likely get pairs from the same species like that. if it were me i would grow out a couple males and females from each species and try working them with eachother using dividers
which makes a better cross RTMxFestae or Jag x Festae and im thinking of going with a male jagxfestae , and if i put 10 male jags with 2 female festae in the 30 g do you think 1 of the jags will pair up with the festae, or should i just do RTMxFestae i could do both projects i just need to get more festae
Haven't heard or saw manacondas in a long time but I can tell you right now that the jags are going to outgrow the festae and you wont be left with much. You're going to need a big tank too I would go 90+ gallons if you are serious about the project.
Yes I would go male jag or male rtm with female festae. And it will not work in a 30g tank. You will need at least a 4' tank and I wouldn't use a group like u suggested. If u do I would go with mor females than males. And start with the jags, then once u get a possible pair move other jags out and add male rtm's to the remaining females
i have the jags at 1 inch and festae at 2 inch i can do just 5 jags and 2 female festae and alone in a 30 g growing out and see if i can get a bonded pair
