k so when the fish are all 4.5 inches i take one from each species , ima take my best looking jaguar and the best looking female festae and divide them in a tank . so how are they going to pair wont they kill each other

but how do they pair up if they aare seperated through a divider and will it be a for sure they pair or a hit and miss
you will be able to tell if they pair they will be head shaking and digging on both sides of the divider. I have had sucessful spawns with fish that are divided .another way is cutting a few holes in the divider so the female can come and go from the males side as she pleases.
