got a little over overachiever in the 180 from that spawn, bout 3" now.

Tap water never used anything else. Been doing this for 6 years in my 200 gallon tank not one issue and water parameters always great

The daily water change is with my 10 gallon tank I'll do like 10 percent per day sometimes 30 percent

so you never put water conditioner in it every time you did a water change? isnt that bad?

die , what size tank and size of fish now? any quality pellet is good, esp when young, water quality is very important also, but let your water tests tell you when to change. looking for nitrates to never get over 20ppm. I love my jags, this an opportunity to show off my WC pair.

thats nice! so I actually have a split 50 gallon tank do to space in my room. Yes i know its small but this is all I have to work with till I move out of the house. the jag is probably little over 5"? I dont know if its a male or female tho :(

if you on city water, you need to put in prime/safe every water change, and dose for size of tank not water replacing.

leaning on male, but another inch or so will know for sure.

color looks good from pic.

Well like I said I been doing this for 6 years plus and my fish breed are healthy and grow huge in my tanks. My water is fine though I know some areas the waters ph and has chlorine and all sorts but not my water.

not going to get into the tank size cept to say you need a 125g min for the 2 fish in it. 90g min for the jag its self.

regretfully we do not have your water, we need to treat ours, every water change. :)

Yea I use the city water that comes out of my hose line actually. Only thing that can fit my water changer thing I bought. All my sinks are new and it won't attach. So you are saying I should add prime to the tank size and not how much new water I put in? So every time, if I do water changes every other day, add 50 gallons worth of prime for my 50gallkb tank?
