not going to get into the tank size cept to say you need a 125g min for the 2 fish in it. 90g min for the jag its self.

Yea I use the city water that comes out of my hose line actually. Only thing that can fit my water changer thing I bought. All my sinks are new and it won't attach. So you are saying I should add prime to the tank size and not how much new water I put in? So every time, if I do water changes every other day, add 50 gallons worth of prime for my 50gallkb tank?

I would do 10 percent water changes a day in your 50 gallon. I use a water hose as well now and in winter it literally sucks for me sometimes I can't do any due to the weather. I usually have to wait a week sometimes

Oh see I'm in southern Cali so I'm good lol I attach it to the hose so I can put the old water into my garden beds

Not sure why you want to accelerate growth? If that is a 50 gallon, the fish will out grow it in no time just given a normal water change and feeding schedule.
