well i measured him 26cm about a month ago, i dont think hes 30cm but i think he has grown a bit since i measured him, he looked a bit bigger when i put him in the bag...
Both of my Palmas palmas were by far the most shyest of the Polypterus.. i would give him a hiding spot to make him more comfortable... or keep the lid heavily closed, they tried to escape my old tank for a few weeks after i got them 3 years ago, constantly pounding up in the lid. 2-3 others that came with the same shipment jumped out in the store and died.

Holy c*ap i need to stack books like ólafur for his aro. Too bad the Juwel lid is so thin and light.
I only have 1 stack of rocks in the tank, but he can also hide under the juwel box. I plan on getting rid of the rocks and buying some roots.

I am getting a another tank soon, 180-300 gallons, will probably not put polypterus in it, maybe the Lap and the biggest ornate but nothing more. What should i put in it?
I want something big. Cichla maybe? Need more suggestions!

How does this sound in a 30" wide 240g?
2x Cichla Ocellaris
1x Indo Dat
1x Clown Knife
1x GATF/VATF (havent decided)
and some monste polypterus, prolly 3-5.
