Thank you a lot. I really appreciate it. :D

Hmmm. I am thinking of maybe selling a couple of polypterus, dont worry, nothing major. I just got the bad news that i wont be getting a 240g as soon as i hoped. But hopefully, sometimes in the next year or so atleast.
This is my current polypterus collection:
1x E. Congicus
1x E. Endlicheri
2x B. Lapradei
4x P. Polli
1x P. Palmas
2x Ornatipinnis
2x Senegalus
1x Delhezi

Some of these have certain defects, like one of the ornates got stuck in a hose during water change when small and has a "broken" fin and has never grown like it should have (9" and atleast 2 years old). Also 1 of the ornates has something wrong with his gill, onthing that effects his growth or anything, just bugs me when looking at him. So what i had in mind is to sell some of the species that i have multiple of because my goal isnt to have as many as possible, just all the species.

How about this?

1x E. Congicus
1x E. Endlicheri
2x B. Lapradei
3x P. Polli
1x P. Palmas
1x Ornatipinnis
1x Senegalus
1x Delhezi

I was thinking of getting maybe some cichlas (ocells) instead.

I took the chance today of putting my Delhezi in with the big boys. The Del is 5" and fat, even still has some external gills, while the big boys are up to 13".
I hope everything goes well. :D

great looking fish Jakob, and great looking plants!

don't worry about your little del, when i got mine the pair were about 6" each, and they were with my 18" ornate and 12" endli's. as long as everyone is well fed i'm sure nobody'll try to take a nip at anyone.

hmm selling those laps? heheh

Get orinos or azuls ;)

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

In iceland, you dont get to pick which cichla you get, you just grab what you can and get the heck out of there. ;)
Seriously, cichlas are one of the rarest fish to be imported to iceland, and one of the most overpriced, they pop up around once maybe twice a year, and only like one or two at a time. They normally are Ocells or Monos, but once a couple of tems were imported.

Lets take an example, if a 2" Ocell is $80-$100 in iceland, how much would an Azul cost?:naughty:

Yikes lol. Cichla in las Vegas is labeled pbass haha you don't know what you have untill they get bigger

I just picked up a mayan and a black beltl, i dont know if i will keep them perminately, but atleast for a few weeks.

Btw the Del got eaten by the congi the first night.:irked: Now that was a waste of 100 bucks.:irked:

When introducing bichirs I always make sure they have enough girth to not get eaten by larger polys. Lol. But sucks to hear the del was eaten for dinner.
