Ok, I'll play your game - and what if they're not? Hence the "debate"...
But from where I stand, my Lord wants FAITH from His believers, "For without faith, it is impossible to please Him".
I've witnessed His infallible Word too many times as a believer that Jesus IS the Christ to pass it off as fiction or delusion. People can argue as they will, some myopically, some militantly, some aggressively, some passively. Etc. etc. etc.

That's just one of the wonderful things about my Creator, He allows you to believe as you will. Our job as Christians is to tell people about the sacrifice of Jesus laying down His life for sin that wasn't His. It's up to the collective "you" as to what you want to do with that knowledge.

I just cant see millions upon millions of innocent people being sentenced to eternal damnation because they follow a different religion. Whos to say which religion is right? Every religion has its own little "bubble" of beliefs. The smarter people will view the world outside of these "bubbles" and see the world as a whole instead of seperated groups of people who condemn eachother for being different religions. I know alot of you have been raised a religion so therefor there hasnt been doubt of your faith. But if you take the time and look at life open minded, and view what each religion out there says, then you will see 1 is no more valid as the next.
I am no religion and i lead a good life, im a family man, i do unto others as i would want to be treated and guess what, im not going to hell because im not catholic. And remember most religions were founded back when the majority of people were simpletons. If a man came to you with a couple rocks and said god gave them to him and you are to follow whats written on them what would you say in this modern era?. you would think hes a basketcase although he is no different from the founders of any other religion.
I do not doubt there is a god(s) but i also do not belive in a specific one.
To each their own and in the end of this life you will find out the truth, no matter what it may be.
 
If you look at the world you can see more violence and hate since people have decided to become more evolved and see that they don't need a GOD to live a good life but if you look at things it isn't true.

How do you force people to have compasion or love of their fellow man. Look at big business, they do things that aren't ileagal but they are immoral and you will find that most of them aren't GOD fearing men and women.

I often notice that the people that don't believe in a GOD are the first ones to make fun of and call the people that believe in a GOD weak minded or brain washed.

Why dosen't the person that believes in a GOD deserve their opion to be accepted and allowed to be said without the nonbeliever calling names and making fun of them.We that believe in a GOD don't make fun of your beliefs..... we pray for you and feel bad that you can't have the peace that we do. I will admit that some believers do act like an idiot but every group has people that let their emotions guide them.

More non believers hurt and kill people then people that believe in a GOD.

As for fearing our GOD the bible says that each man must seek out his salvation with fear and trembling but we shouldn't live our lives in fear of our GOD and we don't.
 
maybe i didn't read the complete article or everyones post, but what are they going to base the DNA of corpses over 2000 years old on? how could you prove who the bodies realy where? if anyone knows this please explain. I am not an archiologist and i'm not doubting anything. i just want to see facts.

i bet if you researched that statement more you would find the exact opposite. You do realize the amount of religious wars throughout history and which still go on to this day?.
90% of my family/friends are a religion of some sort, religion has no bearing on how i treat someone as an individual

Again, I refer to the 1st of the 10 commandments:

It's every Christian's duty to punish the non believers and their children to the fourth generation. Non believers deserve to be punished as they are going straight to hell anyways.
 
The bible says alot of jibberish, most if it sexist, hatefilled nonsense.
Do you also stone your teenagers if they are disobedient as the bible commands?, the bible doesnt say try to teach or persuade other religions, it says to outright kill them, along with millions of other innocent people.
Toffee i feel very, very sad for you and many others who share your point of view, its very sheltered and i hope one day you look upon the world with an unbias opinion.
