yeah i'd say just let it grow out and see what happens.
if you straighten it, your hair loses moisture and gets really dry and becomes straw like.
so many of my friends are always styling their hair and it looks so nice until you actually touch it and it falls apart in your hands lol.
i like short hair on men. dunno why, i dont like long hair.

i cut my own hair, i have for the past year, all my nails are broke, my hair is dry because i mess with it to much hehe i'm a complete mess arrghh

my hair isn't like that no more <----- it's chocolate brown and alot shorter

i have hair like juxtas (except straighter) i still use a straightner from time to time. My hair is so thick, if i dont it poofs and i have a helmet of hair.

When I had the relaxer in my hair it was fine. I could straighten it and it was decently soft. But after my new hair grew in, I didn't straighten for a while (9th grade winter break, 3 weeks), and on the first day back I straightened my hair and it was so nice and soft and fluffy! I was like. But after the second day of doing it my hair just DIED. It was so sad.

Ditto, natural hair won't straighten without major damage.

The hair in the picture is when I still had a relaxer in it. Plus, it was moist in the picture, so it was a little tame.

My wife had it done when we lived in Japan, it stayed straight for months and only had to get it touched up as her hair grew. the process took several hours though and was fairly expensive.
