ummm....congrats?

The jar was moved to a 700g tank along with all my asian aros at the same time as I was planning to do an all arowana community tank of all the aro species. They were all at 18-26 inches when I added them. 3 weeks later they stared a royal rumble and the tonyang aro was harassing mostly the jardini. Broke my own rule of not separating the fish as I was hoping they all will get along ok in a few days once settled their won differences but was wrong.

Sold some of the big aros and started with small aros and go for the arowana world community tank again. Right all aros are at 8-12 inches and all are doing fine. Been 2 months now.

This just shows that jar is not the most aggressive of all the aros but depends on individual arowana personality.

i think about 90% of the jar are aggressive... I have a big NGT tiger a jar 2 big silvers...this is how balance of power is achieved:
the tiger beats up on the jar
the jar beat up on the bigger silver (only slightly bigger than the other silver)
the bigger silver beat up on the smaller silver
the smaller siver just get beat up , he's the most peaceful one, except for feeding them , he turns into the most aggressive eater...noone gets in the way of him and his food...all the other are scared of him and have to work around him during feeding time.
and noone beat up the NGT tiger but he's naturally shy

Go to the media lounge for aro's and you can see my post from yesterday. You'll see my jar who is more than double yours with no aggression issues. Pics of tank mates are included in the post. An oscar and a snook are included in the tank who are very mild mannered along with a managuense, motaguense and a convict in a 180. This doesn't mean it will work for you, I'm just saying that not all Jar's are murders..... and who knows maybe some day mine will turn, but generally speaking they turn at around 8-10" and mine is far beyound that.
I want to try mine with neon tetra when it gets full grown.

My jar was gtg.

The guy I got them from had a problem with aggression. When I got them I put them in a tank I had some plants in there and a few other fish and there was zero issues.

I think sometimes having some kind of Decour in your tank helps to diminish aggression.
