jardini and silver success

Hey nice tank.. so have you put tha giant gourami in yet? after you put that in you will have all the fish a guy could dream of! and depending on the jardini.. mine is about 20" and he is calm as.. so just depend on their personality and just dont feed to much lie food.. well i rekon.. good luck even tho i dont think you need it!

actually I just gave the giant gourami back to its original owner today. but I do have a baby gold gg that is growing as well.
as for the jardini, the only main problem is when they eat...they both chase after the same food. and occasionally the jardini grabs the food right before the silver gets it, then the silver gets pissed and bites the jardini's tail. other than that there's no aggression but i'm not looking forward to what those food fights would turn into when the jardini gets to be the same size :l

glad it's working out for you and i hope it continues. gives me hope about my thoughts of maybe trying to keeping a black and jar together.
They don't even fight ,but I make sure they have alot of distractions,from other fish.I keep alot of other big fish in the community with them,I think silvers and jardini's can get along fine if the silver is close to twice the size of the jardini.I've seen this a few times.
lookin a treat together...keep an eye tho...just liek everyone else has said, it's only a matter of time b4 ur jar turns to the dark side....
