Thanks! Try feeding it pellets. If it doesn't take to pellets then offer it Bloodworms, krill, mealworms etc. Once it starts getting to the 8-9" mark then you should try starving it to make it accept pellets since pellets are more nutrient rich than any raw/live food that can be offered. I starved mine for a few days even though I shouldn't have to get it to accept pellets. Good luck!

thanks for the info. Was thinking the same thing but wanted to avoid bloodwormss if I can, I think I'll give crickets n small mini crawlers a shot n go from there.
 
I think I'm getting a little better on my camera skills lol. Not much of a change but at least the picture looks better.

Looks great! Mine is only about 5 inches. Eating hikari floating sticks. Did yours always have the dots on tail?
