Jardini Arowana Fin Tail Disease

Hello,

I have a 5'' jardini arowana. I attached some pics of it. Is there anyone who knows what this disease that arowana has on its fin and tail. How can i cure it and what can i do to prevent this from happening again. Thank you very much.

Look like fin rot or ammonia burn. have you check and tested your water? Until you really sure what exactly what is wrong with the aro I would start out with increasing your water change and add salt. Keep your water as clean as possible, see if you see any improvement about a week or two. Avoid chemical if you can.
