I think you guys did a great job of attempting to help but no one's obligated to contribute inflammatory posts just because they don't like the OPs attitude.

I think the reason he's receiving such a hard time
is that it is unclear if he learned anything at all from the experience
and we all had to sit and watch the poor aro suffer for nothing

The OP was mainly in denial because he was trying to retain at least some shred of dignity in his own methods, even if they were wrong. Not everyone openly comes out and admits they're wrong right from the get go. What's important is if they learn from this or not.

i saw ammonia poisoning at a fish store not my tanks there ammonia somehow got to over 8ppm

my attitude was very confused not angry and it still is i thought every thing i was doing was fine
