see i was confused because ammonia doesn't mess a fish up to the extent of his damage, I'm not saying ammonia isn't bad i have just never heard of ammonia doing that to a fish

well thanks to every one anyways now i learned how to clean my filter better and now I'm going to see if a can make a latch for the hoods or something. the worst part is i strictly do not let people smoke in my store

yea well sadly a lot of me and my wallet died with that fish he was $320
and he was my favorite fish :cry:

You intend to restock the tank? Another arrowana or new direction?
 
i don't know his death really discouraged me i think I will just let Mr. rtc rule the tank and the ammonia most likely came from mini cycles like you guys said

well to anybody who doesn't know it yet tobacco is very very very very toxic to fish and will shut down its organs so DO NOT smoke near you fish and don't let the buts fall in your tank they will eat it and die a slow painful death
 
good to know.... i dont smoke :)
