Are you sure thats not a lei? how big is s/he? I like the color a lot, be neat if s/he holds it. Kinda a bright green yellow. as for the fins, keep the water clean and the temps up and it'll be fine in days(depending on the severity) you can add some aquarium salt at 5tsp per gallon if you want to help boost the healing process a bit.

i think there's another one in my gallery. yes im sure its a jar, actually its my second one and is about 4 years old. i cant get a newer pic though coz the tank is in our family cottage far from where im living right now. my bro takes care of it. leichs have a different body and markings plus their barbels are more pointing outward sideways.

man I really Don't want to have to be the one to argue but I really think you have it backwards, and the other pic you have is even harder to tell then this one... I've always been told jars barbel point out... mine does... all the other aros in this thread are jars here are a couple leis...

its a jardini...

salamat pare:)

man, its my fish and i know its a jardini, ok? just look at the markings. ive been raising two of them the last seven years and my friend has a leich, ive got a silver and an asian too. i think i know the differences of the arowana family. leich barbels point sideways even more than jars. when they say jar barbels point outward, its when theyre compared with silvers and asians
