jardini color variations!

Thanks...yeah, he gets into little squables with my albino red every once and a while and flips out and sometimes goes rocketing across the tank to get him and clips the driftwood.

2 of my previous jardini's ..
i put them in a separate tank.. about 80gallon.. and they are ripping each others tails apart
 
nice jars everyone... unfortunatly right now i'm not keeping any jars, had a small one but my asian aros killed it :(
 
I dont know jar's well, but are there really such things as color variants for jars? Or is it just by chance that one happened to have more color then the other, such as silver aro's. I see people saying their silvers have color on the fins but to me they all look the same, unless its real obvious with drastic color shades such as the snow/albino. You guys know what im talking about?
 
Here is my guy, I've had him since mid June and he was about 8" long. He's now 12"-13" long and fattened up really well.
