unfortunately he passed away - and i was really pissed about it. This jar would even dive down and pick up food from the bottom and was eating food from day 1. Thought about just stopping keeping fish altogether (I still have some fish) but that passed. I still don't udnerstand what went wrong - maybe too many factors changed at once and he died from the stress. In any case, thanks for all the help. My bad on replying so late, just been pissed and staying away from the forums and fish stuff in general.
i'd say its either the oxygen levels or the earth worm, or even the water change, i lost a silver by trying to change the water 
and true, dont use a power head thats too strong, the fish is likely to get even more stressed by bumping around. Anyways, hope he Gets Well Soon
