ive only been physically on for an hour

im researching the care requirements of the african spur thigh tortoise, im baby sitting my brothers girlsfriend ASTT, i cant believe her dumb ass ex got her the largest continental land tortoise as a gift, good thing she's with my brother and he's an EX!

my god though this tortoise is in horrible shape! lettuce, a 10 gallon, sand substrate and a very cheap suppliment, my god i dont know how this thing made it this far after two years in her care!

yeh mice are highly adapted at swimming and buy the time an arownana got there it would of swum to a bank or safe area. also mice are not native to the amazon.

Jars come from Australia so why is there any issue over mice in the amazon? in Aussie there are lots of mammals that are not scared to go for a swim.. and all be it rare, a jar does stand a chance of catching them...
