Umm to clarify things up, I didn't lose any plecos... the OP did. He lost 6-7 plecos... And to surprise you, it's not fancy plecos, they're your hardy common plecos...

Not hardy enough!

My nickle (inflation): I don't think, and this is based on experience unlike some opinions here, they should not be in a tank under 6 feet MINIMUM X 2ft. And 2 feet is questionable. Not to be bragging ( but I will ) but that is why I have a 6X6'.

+1 a 6x6 allows for them to swim in different directions.

Haha you make me laugh.

I know! He speaks with such massive experience from his 12 years. That's age not time in the hobby.

Yeah, they're quite forgiving so that practically surprised me, I'm assuming, he didn't have those plecs not all in the same time, but in a manner of separately consecutive kills...

I heard they can swim upside down if you add toilet water. :grinyes:
Kidding.

An arowana doesnt always have to be 24 inches at adulthood. And you people can stop flaming. I get it, 75 gallons may be quite cramped but what am I going to do? Nobody in our area has a tank over 55 gallons. You ignorant people don't get it, its like talking to a brick wall. Just forget about it. It will get to probably 18 inches so it can still turn.

Hi Andrink, I'm not sure how to respond about you deleting your signature... Oh well preferences.
But It's just this, if you would kindly re-read all the post I've posted is that I don't really flame on you or anything, I'm just asking some direct questions, cause that's what I do, I don't beat around the bush.

Let's say you really love the jardini, would you like it to have the best thing you could offer to it? I bet you would.
But that's the idea, the way you describe your fish keeping practices contradicts on what is happening right now.

The real deal is that we wouldn't want you to waste any investment or effort you poured on keeping the fish and found out in the future that there is a dead fish floating due to poor husbandry care and/or lack of the fish's demand. I don't want you ending up in the worst mistake thread. Once you go there probably you're gonna type this or have a thought in your head, 'wish I still had my...'
