Yes and they get real nasty too. Arowana's are a territorial type of fish and once the Jardini takes over the Silver's territory it's game over for the silver. Anyways to the OP honestly I don't know where u did your research and homework on this combo but whoever approved it was some bad advice. Also u said your LFS said it was ok but of coz they are going to say it's ok because they want to sell the fish. IMO most if not all LFS's give bad advice...

It's not negative or hating. I could care less about the OP getting a Jardini as I use to own a few and I see them all the time. We're just giving advice and letting the OP know to becareful and be prepared for the worse from personal experience.

LOL ya I know and I tried to give him some good advice but he wouldn't listen. Let this young soul live and learn through mistakes. It'll eventually happen.

just remember, jars don't usually show their aggression until the 12" mark, so right now having them together doesn't really prove anything

How would anyone on this board know whether or not people "took their advice" or "listened"? I see a person (s) inquiring about other members and requesting their experience, recommendations and advice. Since when did everybody "do what they were told" and also, in spite of what they may hear here, they may be getting other advice that is not from a MFK member? This place seems like a font of information, but it is true that you can lead a horse to water, and but not make it drink. i'm just saying.
