jars in a community is cooler. i hate single speciman tanks. xtra work for 1 single species, more electricity,heating, filtering, water changes. for 1 fish lol.

true, so you should think about that b4 u buy one then. if the jar doesn't work in the 400gal community, im gettin rid of it. i can't have a huge tank for 1 jardini... anyone in socal interested in a 20" jar?
maybe it is worth it, but i have different views for a jardini. there not my passion. its a cool looking fish but i like silvers n black n asians way more. so i couldn't see wasting a huge tank on 1 jardini, i'd rather put a black, or a community of silvers, or n asian. or a community with a jardini. but no solo jardini tanks for me. jus not my chip off the old block.
You just have to find the right Jar, I have had my Jar with Oscars, GTs, clown loaches, Jags, bichirs, and big and small cats with only a few incidents.
