Hey guys and girls have any of y'all made a successful Java moss wall? I did one today and maybe looking for any tips y'all might have. Also how long does it typically take to start growing. I have a co2 system and dose liquids fertilizer so I'm hoping no I'll have some decent luck. I've seen some pictures and videos and they look awesome to me.

Yeah I just had it floating in the bottom of my tank and put it in between two craft screens with some suction cups. Is it fairly easy to atleast keep alive?
Mine grows like wild fire, I started with a patch the size of an Australian 20c piece (2½cm chunk) not even twelve months ago, now its in all of my tanks, covering every bit of wood and rock in my tanks. I don't use ferts or co2 in my tank or anything special, it just grows.
This is the first bit of wood I put it on, it started as a tiny patch and now its this, every couple of weeks I'm pulling a handful or so off of the wood so that I can actually see the wood lol
Also, how are you getting it to stay on the wall? I've wanted to try this with weeping moss but wasn't sure how to get it started.

But by placing some on a dry piece of wood or stone and misting it a few times a day it will grab on and can be placed in a tank
Kind of but will only grow out of water in an area where it is getting misted like the base of a water fall, if it dries out it will die. i think it is classified as a true aquatic.
