yeah i wanted to but the glass on these walmart tanks is way too thin. im sure i would have cracked it already
 
I just set up a tank exactly like this. Same desk lamp with a HOB in a 10g. It's my first planted tank. It's stocked with a single Glofish (Zebra Danio) named Cartman. And a common Pleco 3-4" named TJ. TJ will be moving to my 55g soon when I find some Bristlenose I like for the 10g. Thanks for the idea. I've been wanting to try this for a long time.
 
You need some Red Cherry shrimp in there. You make me so mad jcardona1....now you have me thinking about a 24 gallon hex I have just sitting in storage. It would make a nice low tech planted tank for a corner of the house somewhere!!

p.s. I like the way your stand looks with the tall vase and reeds, and the photograph above the tank. You have an good eye for asthetics.

thanks man! actually, i tore this tank down a few weeks ago :( i got tired of doing the maintenance for all these tanks. but i have tons of cherry shrimp in my 55g :)
