Jd, 11 inches?

3 inches in 1.5 months is extremely fast especially for a slow growing cichlid
 
I thought I'd jump into this. Back in the day I had a dempsey that was an easy 12". He was just as big as one of my 12" jags at the time. I could only find one picture with him in it. Only his head is visible in the top right corner. You can tell he is huge though as he is in the back and looks large compared to others in the tank.

WOW thats a monster JD, he has great colour.
i hope mine gets that big,ive had him for around 8months and hes 8"-got him at 2"
 
JDs are alot like green terrors if you keep them right do plenty of water changes give them plenty and most importantly ALOT of time then 10'' JDs and 12'' GTs aren't uncommon they can get bigger to but this takes years
