ya the lighting makes it look a bit yellow. i took those pics after a water change so she was a bit flustered. She has darkened up alot i will try to get another pick

.so i got another picture. she deffinatly has some yellow in the back part of her and the tail fin. She was just a petco rescue. Had her since she was about a quarter inch. was the little one in the tank being chased by all the others with torn fins. SHe has since made a full recovery and maybe now i will try to find a male for her.
does anyone have a pick of what a similar size male will look like and would it be better to get a smaller male or does it matter
just look at the gill plate. females will have it like yours is and the males will have a few spots but all are round and not connected to any others.
