I’m wanting to run a stock tank from solar panels. I’m wondering if either a dcp or dcq pump could be run directly from solar panels automatically. I’d run a buck converter to either output 24v or 36v. Would these pumps come on automatically whenever the sun hits the panels??? Or once unplugged do they have to be turned on every time power is reset? I’m looking at the larger pumps to run a 1000 gal stock tank or 2.

I unfortunately can’t answer your question regarding the solar power but I do have 5 Jebao DCP pumps running currently. They do turn back on automatically at their programmed flow rate when the power comes back on. They’re super quiet, affordable, efficient, and last a very long time time.

Great news. I’d just have to figure out the plug size going into the controller and id be in business

Please report back when you have it worked out as it sounds interesting. What’s going in the stock tanks?
Fishies. Seems like it will be much easier to do 24v and go with a 15000. I really wanted to do the 20000. It’s a pain to find a higher amperage 36v buck converter
