Jebao = Taking over the world with Cheap! low power usage pumps & Wave makers, look

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
People, don't waste your money buying those cheap chinese pump, mine died within 9 months,
the fish are more important than saving money on those dc pump, cheap stuff at the end is more
expensive.

Yeah, I like the idea of cheap... but cheap nowadays in terms of electronics always means corners were cut somewhere.... unless you are talking a small discount in terms of price vs. product.

I still like my Max-Flow 4280... its a beast of a pump and only uses about 160w... but then again, its a tad over double what the Jaebo 12000 costs....

For me, saving money wasn't the reason for getting it. I had limited exposure to DC pumps, and had a family member with the Waveline that had been running for now over 3 years and no issues. He actually had the Gen1 which was infamous for the problems known. Did you experience that with the pumps?

Also, what's your definition of "cheap"?

For me cheap is poor quality , put aside the money ; we are not talking hundreds of dollars here, but when it
comes to reliability these pumps speak for themself, I had read numerous reviews because I wanted to give
them a second chance, but not for now; I will wait. It pretty upsetting to come home to find out your pump is not working after few months risking your life stock.

Almost went with Jebao for my 600, instead bought two Laguna 4280s. Glad I did after reading all the negative feedback lately.

Laguna 4280s look pretty good. I saw 170 watts but i couldnt find how much flow they have at 6' head

@6' will be 2935gph.

I'm curious how many of you guys are actually checking these claimed consumption numbers???
