Jeff Rapps splendid cichlids and customer service

In my quest to acquire real quality and pure Carpinitis Cichlids, I finally went the Jeff Rapps route. I wanted just one. He sent me two, because he "hated to send just one". What a great vendor!
I wanted just one because I worried about aggression in my 75 gallon, but these two get along great! Am I wrong? Did I luck out with a male and female? Not great pic, but the bigger one has a steeper forehead hence a male?

Jeff is a great guy and one of the better seller out there. Sorry to hear that he's leaving. But he seems to have gotten you a great pair. They look great.
