Long before on line fish sales became as popular as today, Jeff was importing, raising and selling hard to find fish. I remember when he had all of his tanks in the basement.. He's come a long way.
Kyel...if you are going to mix speciecs you should consider getting fish of varying sizes and if possible, fish that are found together in the wild. To answer your question directly...maybe. Your best bet is to grow them out together, get some kind of a dithers/target fish...and get a good divider.
Here's a list...try getting a Black Belt (V. maculicada), A. Robertsoni, and some Honduran Red Points.
Very good post Mo. I think we as hobbiest should be supporting Jeff's business for a number of reasons. He was around long before the current crop of online vendors and really has brought back some of the truely rare/hard to find cichlids and I just plain ole like the man. He has always been good to me and for that reason I highly recommend Jeff to everyone I know thats looking to stock there tanks with some amazing cichlids. If my buddy Kyel ends up being my piggyback ride I will be ordering even more from him lol.
